If you're looking for a place close to the city, but still feels 'far away', I would recommend this place. The facilities are slightly dated, but still comfortable to use and are clean enough.

I wanted to reserve a spot to camp, and upon talking to the man on the phone he informed me that they will only accept a credit card for the 50.00 reservation fee. When I told him I didn't have a credit card and that I could drive up and pay in cash. He informed me that it had to be a credit card... so what kind of business doesn't take cash..All I want to do is book a spot for a few days so I can have a little R & R. I wonder if they realize that not everyone has or wants a credit card... I think that is discriminatory and unfair to not allow me to reserve a camp site for 2 days because I am not a credit card holder...I think that is utter BS. I am very disappointed and will definitely be taking that place off my list of places to visit and will not be recommending it to my Alberta and Sask friends when they come this way. CASH SHOULD ACTUALLY BE BETTER THEN ANY TYPE OF CREDIT CARD.....

I have made a reservation on the website, and I called the park twice at 11 am, but no one answered it or called me back. So we decided to come to the park and asked. We arrived the park at 7 pm, but the gate was locked. So we left our car outside and went into the park through a small door beside the gate. The office was tiny and the door was locked. We rang the bell and we even called the office, but no one answered it. I was so terrified cuz it was so dark and it was dead in the park. I would never ever go to that park again!

We made reservations a while back to arrive on Friday and depart on Monday. We had a rocky start as we arrived at about 10:00AM and was met at the gate by an english bloke who said check in wasn't until 2:00PM. Being our first time there had no idea of the check in policy, and was unable to find it on any of our correspondence with the office. He in fact turned us away, said we would have to go somewhere else and wait it out. He couldn't even give us an idea where to go. He did say if we were willing to pay for an extra night he'd let us in because the sites were open and available. We left and drove into the park looking for a place to maybe park and wait it out. No chance of that. We ended up going back to the RV park, paying his ransom, and he let us in to set up. I didn't get a name nor did we see him again for the three nights we were actually there. Although we paid for four. If he is the manager, the ownership should rethink who they have managing. If he's the owner, it will be only a matter of time before it will bite him.

We stayed here over BC Day long weekend. It's a cute little campsite and the tenting sites are nice. There's a swimming pool, basketball court, and a volleyball court. I had no problems with the management as others here have stated; he was just fine. There were a lot of families staying there and overall it was a great experience - especially for my 3.5 year old as it was her first time.
